This week's BTT question is about timing: "Do you divide your books into day and night reads? How do you decide?"
Had to stop and think about this one for a while, but I don't think I do divide my reading up by different times of day (or night). At least not consciously. I generally have two or three books going at the same time, and read one or the other as the mood strikes me. But I usually do most of my reading in the evening and at bedtime, so I guess most of my reads are night reads.
I think I am one book at a time reader, whether it is day or night time.
ReplyDeleteOccasionally, if I am reading some very creepy serial killer book and I just know it will give me nightmares, I tend to read it in the daytime and keep a non violent book for pre-bedtime.
ReplyDeleteBasically, I'm a read whenever I get a chance kind of girl and it doesn't matter what I'm reading at the time.
ReplyDeleteHmmm -- I do my reading at night, too, so I'd have to say I don't divide. Plus, while I MAY have more than one book going at a time (well, as one is an audiobook, I guess I always do that -- but I'm thinking READING, not listening), I don't think I ever have two fiction books going at the same time.
ReplyDeleteCurrent read: "Soul Mates," a romance by the guy who's producer of Bold and the Beautiful -- for some reason that tickles me. Some interesting plot twists in it. Next up is a thriller. I do like to change things around!
This is an easy question for me since I only read one book at a time.
ReplyDeleteLike I said elsewhere..I read whatever I am reading anytime!
ReplyDeleteHere is my Day and Night reply!
I don't divide my books by day or night. Here is my answer for Booking Through Thursday.
ReplyDeleteI don't, either. I used to keep a stack by my nightstand but those books somehow never seem to get read!
