It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is now being hosted by Sheila at One Persons Journey Through a World of Books. If you want to let the world know what books you're going to be reading this week, head on over to her blog and leave your link.
OK, I guess it's almost not Monday anymore. I seem to be running even slower than usual today. Blame it on an emergency dental appointment. I've been having a lot of those lately. (Getting old is so much fun!) Anyway, here's my info for this week:
- Almost finished last week:
People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks. I should be able to get this one finished tonight or tomorrow. - Reviews posted last week:
The Anthologist, by Nicholson Baker
Quattrocento, by James McKean
The Raphael Affair, by Iain Pears
The Island of Dr. Moreau, by H.G. Wells - Reading this week:
Contact by Carl Sagan
Mrs. Malory and Any Man's Death, by Hazel Holt
Also continuing with The Magnificent Ambersons, by Booth Tarkington - Next up:
Haven't quite decided yet, but I'm thinking about some nonfiction for a change. I just bought Patti Smith's new memoir Just Kids, about her relationship with artist Robert Mapplethorpe, and I'm itching to start that one. So I might be taking a little walk down Punk Rock Memory Lane.
am currently reading serval books, this is one of them...
