This week BTT asks: "What book(s) have you read that you’re secretly ashamed to admit?"
And I have to say I honestly don't think I'm ashamed of anything I've ever read. Some of it was probably a waste of time, but never shameful. I'm only embarrassed by the multitude of things I haven't read.
Good answer -- I agree completely about the things I haven't read. So many books, so little time.
ReplyDeleteOh dear me... over my lifetime I can think of a few books I've wasted my time on, and some I am ashamed to admit I actually read. I guess we can't all be pleased all of the time.
ReplyDeleteThat is the perfect answer. No one should be ashamed of what they've read.
ReplyDeleteI read an article that said we shouldn't be upset if we've missed certain books, movies, tv shows, etc simply because there is so much content out there. I will often feel like I should read something and put it on the TBR list, but I try not to feel guilty for having missed it. :)
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with your answer.

I completely agree. I can't think of a book that I was ashamed to have read. I've read novels that I hated, and that's part of the learning curve, but there has been no shame along the way.
