This week,
BTT asks:
What are you reading now? Would you recommend it? And what’s next? And my answers:
READING NOWI really don't like to recommend books before I've finished them. However, I'd definitely recommend the Mrs. Malory book to anyone who likes cozy English-village mysteries.
NEXT UPThe MR Rinehart is a classic, of course, but I'm just now getting around to it -- started it last month and had to put it aside for other things. The Diane Arbus bio is an Early Reviewer book from LibraryThing, and I don't actually have my copy yet. Besides these two, I'll probably be reading something for the RIP/VI Reading Challenge very soon -- of course,
The Winter Ghosts would probably qualify there (and maybe the Diane Arbus book, too?).
Out of all of those Literary Brooklyn piques my interest. They are all new to me though.
ReplyDeleteSounds good!
ReplyDeleteHere is my BTT: Queue post!
Going to Half-Price later to look for a McMurtry book and am going to look for the Hazel Holt book. I have never been a good mystery reader but that seems to be changing for some reason. It looks good.
ReplyDeleteThe Winter Ghosts sounds really good.

Sounds like a great line up of books! I've never read Hazel Holt but heard alot of good things about her books. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteOoh, mysteries! :)
ReplyDeleteMy sister enjoyed The Winter Ghosts. I hope you have a great weekend of reading.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've got a really great line up going! I sometimes get sick of looking at my TBRpile and it's kind of cool to window shop other reads' wares. ;O)
