It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

"Tatyana" by Elena Samokysh-Sudovskaya

I have not finished a single book this month. I'm not really sure how August has gotten by me so fast, but it has. I had a stack of books I planned to read this month, but they're all still right there in the stack!

At the top of said stack:

Dark Matter, by Blake Crouch

After that, another book I planned for August:

And after that, it'll probably be September! This year just keeps zipping right along.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is now hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. If you want to let the world know what you're going to be reading this week, head on over to her blog and leave your link. It's also a great way to discover new books and new blogs.

  1. Both those books are ones I've had my eye on. I keep seeing "Dark Matter" everywhere! It's funny -- the cover of the Ann Hood book looks SO much like the book I'm reading now, "The Things We Keep" by Sally Hepworth! Same two-colored bow, same lowercase serif font. Hope you get some reading done this week! :)

  2. I liked Dark Matter very much. It should kick you back into Reading Mode.

  3. Don't stress over it. Sometimes there's just too much other stuff going on to find time to read.

  4. Some months are like that. Hopefully September will be better.
    Happy reading!

  5. This year has flown by but hopefully you had a great August even if the reading didn't happen. Dark Matter is on my list too.

  6. I loved The Book That Matters Most, and it was a quick read about lovely bookish things.

Enjoy! Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  7. I'm almost finished with "Real Dissent", which is political, and am starting "When Tigers Fight", a history of the Japanese invasion of China in the 1930s.

Welcome and thanks for leaving me a comment. I love to hear from visitors.

Also, please note that while I appreciate the thought, I don't play the blog awards game. I think you all deserve awards! But you might think about becoming a follower of my blog -- that would really be the best award.
