Booking Through Thursday: Guilty Pleasure

This week BTT asks: "What book(s) have you read that you’re secretly ashamed to admit?"

And I have to say I honestly don't think I'm ashamed of anything I've ever read. Some of it was probably a waste of time, but never shameful. I'm only embarrassed by the multitude of things I haven't read.

  1. Good answer -- I agree completely about the things I haven't read. So many books, so little time.

  2. Oh dear me... over my lifetime I can think of a few books I've wasted my time on, and some I am ashamed to admit I actually read. I guess we can't all be pleased all of the time.

  3. That is the perfect answer. No one should be ashamed of what they've read.

  4. I read an article that said we shouldn't be upset if we've missed certain books, movies, tv shows, etc simply because there is so much content out there. I will often feel like I should read something and put it on the TBR list, but I try not to feel guilty for having missed it. :)

  7. I completely agree. I can't think of a book that I was ashamed to have read. I've read novels that I hated, and that's part of the learning curve, but there has been no shame along the way.

Welcome and thanks for leaving me a comment. I love to hear from visitors.

Also, please note that while I appreciate the thought, I don't play the blog awards game. I think you all deserve awards! But you might think about becoming a follower of my blog -- that would really be the best award.
